Completed my studies in philology at the University of Bucharest, followed by a master’s degree and a PhD in Comparative Literature at the University of Montreal. While researching for my doctoral thesis on the subject of thought-image as a poetry device (at the beginning of the 20^th century), I became interested in research projects linking contemporary poetry to urban legends, political ideologies and global cultural development. I wrote articles, poems, and essays in both English and French.
